The Hotel Garni Brugger on the island of Lindau in Lake Constance has a history. Originally founded as a butcher’s store, the Brugger family began renting out the first rooms to guests in 1975. What was once intended as a side business developed into a successful and highly regarded hotel business.
Today, the Hotel Garni Brugger is run by Erwin and Evelin Brugger. In 2000, Erwin Brugger took over the family business in the second generation and has been running it with passion and dedication ever since. The long-standing team, which also includes the children Elisabeth and Elias Brugger, stand for a warm and familiar atmosphere, which makes the hotel a popular destination for guests from all over the world.
The continuous development and loving renovation of the hotel reflect the values and tradition of the Brugger family. Here, family warmth meets modern comfort – a place where guests can feel at home.

Look forward to fresh rolls and crusty bread from the Holderied bakery, a selection of cheeses and cold cuts, fresh fruit and yogurt, as well as many other delicacies. Our cheerful and friendly service team will be happy to serve you various coffee and tea specialties at your table. So you can enjoy the cozy atmosphere of our breakfast room to the fullest.
